OUR MISSION

The mission of the Roxbury CARES Network is to provide logistical, non-financial support to a resident or family in Roxbury who suffers a serious family crisis as a result of a death, serious illness, accident, fire or other difficult situation. The help is intended to be temporary and transitional in nature, not a permanent support mechanism.

Any Roxbury resident or family qualifies for our help.  Once we receive a request for help, our Board reviews the request to see if the person(s) in need fit the resources we can offer.  If so, we can mobilize the full resources of thousands of Roxbury families our call for help will reach.
